  2. Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket

  3. Tools required:Phillips & a T15 torx screwdriver & a 13mm socket spanner
    Phillips, T15 & 13mm socket
  4. Pliers/Side Cutters/Flat Screwdriver/13mm spanner
    pliers,sidecutters,13mm span,flat screwy
  5. Remove the screw cover caps on both sides of the lid

  6. Using the T15 torx spanner remove 2 lid retaining screws

  7. Lift the lid slightly

  8. Push the lid back and remove it

  10. Remove the soap dispenser drawer

  11. Using the phillips screwdriver remove 3 console retaining screws

  12. From the left pull the console away from the machine

  13. From the right un-clip the console

  14. Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful)

  15. Release the wires from the control module by pushing them away

  16. Wires released now remove the console

  18. Remove the door seal from the outer casing

  19. Using the flat head screwdriver separate the retaining clip

  20. Pull the retaining clip away with the door seal retaining wire attached

  21. Remove the door seal retaining wire

  22. Grip the door seal and pull it away from the outer casing

  23. Grip the kick strip and pull it away

  24. Remove the kick strip

  25. Remove 2 screws retaining the top of the front casing

  26. Remove 2 screws retaining the bottom of the front casing

  27. Lift and slide the front casing upwards a small amount

  28. Pull the front casing away from the machine & remove wires from the interlock

  29. Its easier to remove the front counterweight with the machine on its back

  30. Using the 13mm socket remove the 3 bottom counterweight retaining bolts

  31. Bolts removed now remove the bottom counterweight from the drum

  32. Bottom counterweight removed from the drum
    WMA 60 Front Counterwieght 4
  33. Using the 13mm socket remove 3 top counterweight retaining bolts

  34. Top counterweight bolts removed now remove the counterweight from the drum

  35. Top counterweight removed from the outer drum casing

  36. Using a flat head screwdriver release the plastic clip on the top of the hose

  37. Grip the dispenser outlet hose and pull it away from the dispenser

  38. Locate the dispenser inlet hoses

  39. Grip the inlet hoses and remove them from the dispenser

  40. Inlet hoses removed

  41. Remove the wires from the plastic clip

  42. Remove the plastic clip retaining the wires from the console back plate

  43. Wires and plastic clip removed

  44. Remove the dispenser

  45. Remove the plastic wire retaining clips from the console back plate

  46. Make a note of the wires to the power module (a photograph is useful)

  47. Remove the wires from the power module

  48. Remove further wires from the power module

  49. Remove the plastic wire retaining clips from the console back plate

  50. Using the phillips screwdriver remove the console back plate retaining screws

  51. Remove console back plate retaining screws from both sides

  52.  Unclip the console back plate from the left side

  53. Unclip the console back plate from the right side

  54. Slide the console back plate away from the side panel

  56. Using the phillips screwdriver release the wire clip & remove the dispenser hose

  57. Using the T15 torx remove the screws retaining the lower back panel

  58. Lower back panel removed

  59. From the top locate the drive belt at the rear of the appliance

  60. Grip the drive belt at the same time rotate the drum pulley to remove the belt

  61. Now remove the drive belt from the drive shaft

  62. With the belt released from the drum pulley and drive shaft remove the belt

  63. Using a soft cloth for protection lay the machine on its face (folded dustsheet)

  64. Using a 13mm spanner remove 2 Motor retaining bolts

  65. Using a 13mm spanner remove 2 Motor retaining bolts
    WMA 60P Motor 2a
  66. With bolts removed now remove the motor from the drum casing

  67. Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful) and remove them

  70. Release the clip retaining the sump kit & remove it from the outer casing

  71. Make a note of the heater wires (a photograph is useful) & remove them

  72. Sump kit & wires removed now stand the machine up

  73. Using the side cutters cut the cable ties holding the wires onto the drum

  75. Locate the damper peg on the suspension damper

  76. Using the flat screwdriver push a small clip on the damper peg

  77. Grip the damper peg with a pair of pliers still pushing with the screwdriver

  78. Remove the damper peg

  79. Remove the damper peg on the other side

  81. Lift the springs out of the side panel both sides & remove the drum assembly

  83. Take the Drum assembly from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance

  84. Fit the spring to the new drum assembly

  85. Make sure the spring hooks face outwards

  86. Lift the Drum assembly into position

  88. Grip the suspension damper & slide it up into position

  89. Locate the suspension damper into the outer drum

  90. Insert the plastic damper peg & push it all the way in

  92. Insert the plastic damper peg on the other side

  93. Reattach the wires to the outer drum with new cable ties

  94. Using a soft cloth for protection lay the machine on its face (folded dustsheet)

  95. Replace the heater wires

  96. Refit the sump kit onto the outer drum

  97. Fit the wires to the motor
    WMA 60 Motor 5
  98. Locate the Motor into position on the drum housing

  99. Locate the Motor retaining bolts

  100. Using the 13mm spanner tighten both Motor retaining bolts do not over tighten 
    WMA 60P Motor 1a
  101. Stand the machine up and from the top feed the belt down past the drum pulley

  102. Position the drive belt over the drive shaft
    WMA 60 Belt 4
  103. Position the drive belt over the drum pulley while  rotating the drum pulley
    WMA 60 Belt 2
  104. The drive belt should be fitting centrally on the drum pulley
    WMA 60 Belt 1
  105. The drive belt should be fitting centrally on the drive shaft
    WMA 60 Lower back plate 4.
