How to change overflow unit container on an Indesit Dishwasher
Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket
Tools required:Phillips Screwdriver
Indesit DI620 Integrated Dishwasher
Lay the appliance on its side to expose the base
Using the phillips screwdriver remove the base retaining screws
Remove further base retaining screws
Carefully pull the base out a small amount
Locate the overflow unit on the inside of the base
Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful) and remove them
Remove the base & remove the overflow unit retaining screws
Remove the overflow unit from the base
Over flow unit removed from base
Locate the overflow float inside the unit container
Remove the overflow float from the overflow unit container
Using the phillips screwdriver remove the micro switch retaining screw
Remove the micro switch from the overflow unit
Micro switch & float removed
Take the container from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance
Fit the micro switch to the new overflow unit container
Using the phillips screwdriver replace the micro switch retaining screw
Place the float into overflow unit container
Overflow float in place
Replace the overflow unit to the base
Replace the overflow unit retaining screws
Replace the wires to the micro switch
Wires attached
Replace the base
Using the phillips screwdriver replace the base retaining screws
Replace further base retaining screws
Now stand the appliance upright
The appliance is now ready for use
