  3. Tools required:Phillips Screwdriver & a pair of Pliers

  5. Lay the appliance on its side to expose the base

  6. Using the phillips screwdriver remove the base retaining screws

  7. Remove further base retaining screws

  8. Carefully pull the base out a small amount

  9. Locate the overflow unit on the inside of the base

  10. Make a note of the wires and remove them, now remove the base

  11. Locate the drain pump & remove the retaining screw

  12. Release the corbin clip retaining the drain hose

  14. Remove the drain hose from the drain pump

  15. Grip the drain pump

  16. Twist the drain pump a small amount to remove it

  17. Remove the drain pump from the sump

  18. Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful)  and remove them

  20. Take the new drain pump from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance

  21. Place the O ring into the new drain pump

  23. Fit the wires to the new drain pump

  24. Fit the new pump to the sump

  25. Push the drain pump onto the sump & twist into position

  26. New drain pump in position

  27. Fit the drain hose onto the new drain pump

  28. Using the pliers refit the corbin clip to hold the drain hose in place

  29. Replace the drain pump retaining screw

  30. Replace the wires to the micro switch on the overflow container

  31. Wires attached
    DI620 Overflow Container 1
  32. Replace the base
    DI620 Base 4
  33. Using the phillips screwdriver replace the base retaining screws

  34. Replace further base retaining screws
    DI620 Base 2
  35. Now stand the appliance upright

  36. The appliance is now ready for use
