How to change the electronic timer module on a dishwasher

  2. Safety first remove plug from mains socket.

  3. Tools required are a Phillips screwdriver and a flat head screwdriver.

  4. Using the phillips screwdriver remove the inner screws of the door panel

  5. Remove the outer screws of the door panel and remove the lower door panel

  6. Using the phillips screwdriver remove the screws to the upper door panel

  7. Remove further screws to the upper door panel

  8. Remove upper door panel

  9. Make a note of the wires (A photograph is useful) and remove them.

  10. Wires removed.

  11. Using the flat head screwdriver carefully unclip timer casing both ends

  12. Timer unclipped. Now lift and remove timer from upper front panel.

  13. Take new timer from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance.

  14. Locate new timer into upper door panel.

  15. Push down into position

  16. Fit the wires to the new timer.

  17. Replace the upper door panel to door

  18. Replace the screws to the upper door panel

  19. Replace further screws

  20. Refit the lower door panel and replace the outer screws

  21. Replace the inner screws to the lower door panel.
