  2. Safety FirstRemove the Plug from the Mains Socket

  3. Tools required: T15 torx screwdriver & a 13mm spanner
    T15 Torx & 13mm spanner
  4. Using the T15 torx remove the screws retaining the lower back panel

  5. Lower back panel removed

  6. Remove 2 screw cover caps on either side of the appliance

  7. Using the T15 torx screwdriver remove 2 screws retaining the lid
    WMA 60 lid 2
  8. Lift the lid a small amount

  9. Push the lid backwards a small amount and remove it
    WMA 60 lid 4
  10. Lid removed

  11. From the top locate the drive belt at the rear of the appliance
    WMA 60 Belt 1
  12. Grip the drive belt at the same time rotate the drum pulley to remove the belt
    WMA 60 Belt 2
  13. Now remove the drive belt from the drive shaft
    WMA 60 Belt 4
  14. With the belt released from the drum pulley and drive shaft remove the belt
    WMA 60 Belt 3
  15. Using a soft cloth for protection lay the machine on its face (folded dustsheet)

  16. Using a 13mm spanner remove 2 Motor retaining bolts
    WMA 60P Motor 1a
  17. Using a 13mm spanner remove 2 Motor retaining bolts
    WMA 60P Motor 2a
  18. With bolts removed now remove the motor from the drum casing
    WMA 60 Motor 4
  19. Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful) and remove them
    WMA 60 Motor 5
  20. Wires removed
    WMA 60 Motor 6
  21. Motor removed
    WMA 60 Motor 7
  22. Take the new motor from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance

  23. Fit the wires to the new motor
    WMA 60 Motor 5
  24. Locate the new Motor into position on the drum housing
    WMA 60 Motor 4
  25. Locate the Motor retaining bolts
    WMA 60 Motor 8
  26. Using the 13mm spanner tighten both Motor retaining bolts do not over tighten
    WMA 60P Motor 1a
  27. Stand the machine up and from the top feed the belt down past the drum pulley
    WMA 60 Belt 3
  28. Position the drive belt over the drive shaft
    WMA 60 Belt 4
  29. Position the drive belt over the drum pulley while  rotating the drum pulley
    WMA 60 Belt 2
  30. The drive belt should be fitting centrally on the drum pulley 
    WMA 60 Belt 1
  31. The drive belt should be fitting centrally on the drive shaft
    WMA 60 Lower back plate removed
  32. Replace the lid
    WMA 60 lid 4
  33. Using the T15 torx screwdriver replace 2 screws retaining the lid
    WMA 60 lid 2
  34. Replace 2 screw cover caps on either side of the appliance
    WMA 60 lid 1 
  35. Using the T15 torx screwdriver replace the screws retaining the lower back panel
    WMA 60 Lower back plate 3
