  3. Tools required:Phillips Screwdriver & a socket for jubilee clips

  4. A pair of pliers

  6. Lay the appliance on its side to expose the base

  7. Using the phillips screwdriver remove the base retaining screws

  8.  Remove further base retaining screws

  9.  Carefully pull the base out a small amount

  10. Locate the overflow unit on the inside of the base

  11. Make a note of the wires and remove them, now remove the base

  12. Locate the drain pump & remove the retaining screw

  13. Release the corbin clip retaining the drain hose

  15. Remove the drain hose from the drain pump

  16. Grip the drain pump

  17. Twist the drain pump a small amount to remove it

  18. Remove the drain pump from the sump

  19. Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful)  and remove them

  20. Wires removed from drain pump which can be set aside for refitting

  22. Release the jubilee clip from the sump to pump hose

  23. From inside the appliance twist and release the sump fixing ring

  24. Remove the sump fixing ring

  25. Locate the pressure switch hose on the sump and remove it

  26.  Pressure switch hose removed

  27. Remove the sump from the sump to pump hose

  28. Remove the sump

  29. Locate the hose to the water softener and release the corbin clip

  30. Remove the hose to the water softener

  32. Take the new sump from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance

  33. Fit the hose from the water softener to the new sump

  34. Refit the corbin clip

  35. Fit the hose from the pressure switch to the new sump

  36. Hose in place

  37. Fit the new sump onto the sump to pump hose

  38. Position the new sump in place and attach the sump fixing ring

  39. Twist the sump fixing ring to lock in position

  40. Tighten the jubilee clip to the sump to pump hose

  42. Fit the wires to the drain pump

  43. Fit the new pump to the new sump

  44. Push the drain pump onto the new sump & twist into position

  45. Drain pump in position

  46. Fit the drain hose onto the drain pump

  47. Using the pliers refit the corbin clip to hold the drain hose in place

  48. Replace the drain pump retaining screw

  49. Replace the wires to the micro switch

  50. Wires attached

  51. Replace the base

  52. Using the phillips screwdriver replace the base retaining screws

  53. Replace further base retaining screws
    DI620 Base 2
  54. Now stand the appliance upright

  55. The appliance is now ready for use
