How to change the water temperature thermostat on an Indesit Dishwasher
Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket
Tools required:Phillips Screwdriver
Indesit DI620 Integrated Dishwasher
Lay the appliance on its side to expose the base
Using the phillips screwdriver remove the base retaining screws
Remove further base retaining screws
Carefully pull the base out a small amount
Locate the overflow unit on the inside of the base
Make a note of the wires and remove them now remove the base
Locate the thermostat & make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful)
Remove the wires
Wires removed
Grip the thermostat & unscrew to remove it from the temperature sensor
Thermostat removed from the temperature sensor
Take the new thermostat from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance
Screw the new thermostat into the temperature sensor
Screw the thermostat in hand tight only
Fit the wires to the new thermostat
Thermostat in place
Replace the wires to the micro switch on the overflow unit
Wires attached
Replace the base
Using the phillips screwdriver replace the base retaining screws
Replace further base retaining screws
Now stand the appliance upright
The appliance is now ready for use
