Grill Pan Lid
Our grill grid was showing bare metal after 6 years of use. This replacement is very good quality, half the price of an Indesit original and was very quickly delivered. What’s not to like.

Good Quality Replacement.
Purchased to replace the twin element on an old Creda Concept 48301 where the outer ring had broken. The replacement looks less substantial than the original but good quality nonetheless. Fitting is straightforward if you are a reasonably competent DIYer and are familiar with wiring. If not, get a professional. This is the first hob element that I have replaced. It wasn't a straight swap, however, as the terminals were in a different place : the heat control unit being more compact. Consequently I had to determine where to mount it to allow the cables to fit without straining. This can easily be done by adjusting the orientation of the element, guiding marks for the hob mounting bracket being provided on the underside. It took me 3 attempts to find the best place. The mounting bracket is screwed into the ceramic of the element, which seems rather fragile, so I did this by hand.
In conclusion, it appears to be a good quality replacement which works well, is silent and heats up fast.
