Looks good and is a solid unit. Controls feel good. Speaker wire connection points are a bit fiddly and would be better as binding posts or lever connections. Haven't tested the sound impact (if any) yet.

2:4 Audio Management connected to PC

Can I connect the soundcard output from my PC to this and then have 4 pairs of individually volume controlled speakers running from this at once? Or would I need to use an amplifier between the PC soundcard and the 2:4 Audio Management unit?

  You would need an amplifier first otherwise the signal will be so low it would be useless. Amplifier is a must.
