My Husband suspected that our heating system was creating carbon monoxide so we bought one of these alarms and installed the batteries and placed it in our lounge, within minutes the alarm went off and yes we had a leak. Than goodness no one was hurt

Promptly dispatched and reasonably priced. Comes with battery and fittings. Simple to fit for the average DIYer. Blue backlight and display are only on when alarm is sounding or under test - not constantly, which is obviously a good thing. Still to test it registers values above 0 as not able to find any CO in our home - also a good thing!

This is a good carbon monoxide alarm. I had another that plugged in but this one I can actually take on my travels. I have had it for nearly 5 months and still using the same battery.
