thermostat for RLA51G fridge

Hi. want to know if this part ok for my fridge. 3 weeks back my fridge has started to get large a build up of ice at the back of the fridge and gets very cold and starts to freeze all the items stored in the fridge. Since yesterday its started to make a funny noise and has started to get less buildup of ice and have to keep it running constantly. Is it the thermostat that is the problem a If so will be purchasing the part from you.

  Hello Shamim, It could be this part that has failed on your fridge but it could also be a number of other reasons why the ice is building up. I would suggest having a service engineer take a look for diagnosis

Does this thermostat come with a small "box" cover and the associated hexagonal nut for the spline with a rotary knob for the flat on the spline in order to rotate it? Many thanks.

Thermostat fro Hotpoint RLS 80

I recently bought a replacement thermostat but when it arrived the probe length is about 16 inches shorter than the original one. I installed it but now it just keeps switching on and off every few minutes. Advice please
