hinge will not screw in to cooker chassis

hi-i recently purchased the above item-however the hinge will not screw back on to the cooker chassis.do i need to replace the self-tapping screws or is there a plate within the actual oven chassis that needs to be in place-has it fallen down inside the chassis when i removed the original hinge?please help!
