problem with a creda europa oven 48132

hi my mums creda oven has stopped lighting, when you push the ignitor button you get one single click and then nothing whereas lt used to click repeatedly until you removed your finger from the button because of this the oven will no longer light. please could you advise as to what maybe wrong. cheers adrian..
