How on earth does this fit a DVG622KIXUk?

Hi,

My door handle has cracked each side (a common complaint I see). Indesit say I need to change the control panel fascia. The door handle is clearly a separate item. I cannot for the life of me see how this item would fit?

Is this a retro-fit item to fix the cracking problem or what?

Any advice very welcome. Oh yes, the panel would be £87.97 -- a bit steep for mending a plastic door handle!!!

Is this really the handle for a DVG 622?

My handle has snapped and I don't want to buy the complete frontage at nearly £90. The handle on my dishwasher is curved - this doesn't look like it would fit. Are there any more pictures of it please? I've sent you a photo of my broken handle so you can have a look.
