    How to remove these knobs

    Hi recently purchased a 2nd hand oven (Hotpoint Ariston UY46) and 2 of the knobs the paint has come off. How do you remove these to replace them. All 3 of the knobs lift up at the bottom from the base of the actual knob but are still held on at the top.

    I've tried to prise the entire thing off with a knife but don't want to do it too hard incase i break the spindle.

    Should they just prise off like other knobs?

      Having looked at an exploded image of the area on the appliance, they do look like they should pull out.
