I ordered 1 of this.
Not original part but very good generic replacement.

Now, it could be great to have bag flange replacement....

a hard to find item 4 stars 4 out of 5

ordered 2 of these for my 1969 Hoover Senior and 1979 Hoover Ranger. Although not genuine Hoover parts, they are a good quality replacement and almost identical to the original.

The only issue I had was one of the end caps was bent out of shape so had to use an old one.

They really quietened the cleaners down though and a new brush roll always makes a big difference to cleaning performance.

    brushroll-my senior is very old 40 years old, but works and I love it
    how do I know this is the correct part to fit
    I can see number 638
    and JPE74709 don't know if this is any help

      Hello Eileen, sorry to say that this part is not suitable for the model 638 however if it is just the replacement brushes you require and not the complete roller unit then we can provide these.
