Review: At this price... HOW??
No Longer Stocked
PROS: Lightweight ABS, carry handles all over it, surprisingly good looking. Can be stacked, sat on a pole or tilted on it's side as a monitor. Two inputs with separate controls cover all bases; XLR for 'proper' DJ's / mics, line input for a laptop / mp3. Both input sides have seperate gain controls with one master volume for the overall mix, enabling you to feed two sound sources at once i.e. for Karaoke if you don't have a mixer. Best of all - have been sent the new model which is upgraded to 300W RMS. Result.
CONS: At such a low price suspicions abound that the parts can't be that robust; you'll never stop worrying it could blow at any second. Only time will tell...
Yourspares were cheapest on the net, under £110 delivered First Class. For my purposes - a powered vocal monitor that has enough power to be turned up without flagging - it seemed ideal. Sat here now with my iPhone playing through it and it sounds fine - it's no RCF, but for the price I think I have found an absolute steal. Will definitely be buying more - at this price every member of the band can have one and we will definitely look at the £140, 350W 15" versions when we increase our PA sound capability.
