Review: Light but sturdy

This is an extremely good value mic stand with extendable boom arm.

Although it is not quite as rock solid as the ones costing twice as much, it does what it's supposed to and consequently is much lighter to carry around.

Since the metal is a little bit skinnier than the pro stands, you might find that there can be a small amount of movement on the boom arm when used with a good weighty mic.

But for a few pence over a tenner, this stand is perfect for anything but the heavy metal singers!
