Review: ATTENTION TO DETAIL & VERY HELPFUL
My search for the correct element for my Hotpoint Oven revealed one on offer that looked to be the correct size. When I checked my failed element the diameter of it was about half an inch larger than the one showed on offer. An e-mail communication with Lizzie helped me when she advised that I need to check the oven handbook to be sure of the size. I found this but it seemed to be a rather general booklet covering a number of ovens. Lizzie spotted this and asked me to find the specific number of the oven and any reference. I eventually located the sticker, (located at the base of the oven door but on the body of the oven itself), and although it was worn to an extent, (the oven is 13 years old), I could just make out that it was an Hotpoint BS 22 (G) ; the (G) reference being critical in identifying the correct element. A subsequent e-mail from Rob T confirmed the element I needed and supplied me with its reference number. Element immediately ordered , (something I confirmed back to Rob T), and it arrived about two days later, (an acceptable delivery time I thought). Element fitted easily and correctly......also gave me ample time to give the interior of the oven a good clean. I take the view that both Lizzie, (with whom I also spoke on the telephone, as well as the e-mails) and Rob T were very helpful and keen to ensure that I gave them the correct information about my oven in order that they could help me. They were friendly and courteous in the extreme and a credit to their company. I would recommend the service offered to anyone seeking spare parts and will not hesitate to use them again should the need arise. A big Thank you to 'Your Spares' for everything.
