How to change a glass door bowl on a washing machine Hotpoint WMA60P
Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket
Tools required:Phillips & a small flat head screwdriver
Using the phillips screwdriver remove the 2 door hinge retaining screws
Remove the door from the appliance
Door removed from appliance
Place the door on a flat surface
Using the phillips screwdriver remove 2 screws to the inner trim
Remove 2 further screws to the door inner trim
Using a phillips screwdriver remove 2 door hinge retaining screws from the door
Using the small flat head screwdriver separate the door trim from the door face
Lift the inner door trim slightly to remove
Remove the door inner trim
Door inner trim removed
Make a note of how the door bowl sits on the door outer trim
Remove the door bowl
Take the new door bowl from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance
Fit the new door bowl making sure its in the correct position
New door bowl in place
Replace the door inner trim
Make sure the hinge and the hinge bearings are positioned correctly
Push down & click the inner door trim into place
Using the phillips screwdriver replace 2 door hinge retaining screws
Replace 2 further screws each side of the inner door trim
Replace 2 further screws securing the door release kit
Position the door & hinge against the casing & replace the retaining screws
Using the phillips screwdriver tighten the door hinge retaining screws
