How to change a high pressure sensor assembly on an Indesit Dishwasher
- Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket
- Tools required:Phillips Screwdriver & a Socket for Jubilee Clips
- Indesit DI620 Integrated Dishwasher
- Lay the appliance on its side to expose the base
- Using the phillips screwdriver remove the base retaining screws
- Remove further base retaining screws
- Carefully pull the base out a small amount
- Locate the overflow unit on the inside of the base
- Make a note of the wires and remove them now remove the base
- Using the jubilee socket spanner release the sump to pump jubilee clip
- Release the clip retaining the high pressure sensor assembly to the pump
- Grip the pump
- Remove the pump from the sump
- Remove the pump from the high pressure sensor assembly
- Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful)
- Remove the wire from the high pressure sensor assembly
- Wires removed
- From inside the appliance grip the lower spray arm retaining nut and release it
- Remove the lower spray arm
- Grip the lower spray arm support & unscrew it from the high pressure sensor
- Remove the lower spray arm support from the high pressure sensor assembly
- From the bottom of the appliance remove the high pressure sensor assembly
- High pressure sensor assembly removed
- Take the sensor assembly from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance
- From the bottom of the appliance fit the new high pressure sensor assembly
- Replace the lower spray arm support to the new high pressure sensor assembly
- Tighten the lower spray arm support onto the new high pressure sensor assembly
- Replace the lower spray arm
- Tighten the nut retaining the lower spray arm
- Replace the wires to the high pressure sensor assembly
- Wires in place
- Fit the pump onto the high pressure sensor assembly
- Fit the pump onto the sump
- Tighten the jubilee clip retaining the pump to sump
- Tighten the jubilee clip retaining the pump to high pressure sensor assembly
- Replace the wires to the micro switch on the overflow unit
- Wires attached
- Replace the base
- Using the phillips screwdriver replace the base retaining screw
- Replace further base retaining screws
- Now stand the appliance upright
- The appliance is now ready for use
