  2. Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket

  3. Tools Required: A Phillips Screwdriver 
    Phillips screwdriver (small)
  4. From the top of the appliance remove the top retaining screws

  5. Screw removed

  6. Remove further top retaining screws

  7. Remove further top retaining screws

  8. Remove further top retaining screws

  9. From the rear lift the top up

  10. Draw the top towards you and remove it

  12.  Locate the motor blower

  13. Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful) and remove them BIMS31 Fan Motor Blower 1
  14. Wires removed

  15. Grip the fan motor and twist upwards

  16. In this position the fan motor can be removed

  17. Pull the fan motor spindle out of the blower this will be slightly tight

  18. Fan motor removed

  19. On the opposite end from the motor locate the rubber bearing

  20. Grip the rubber bearing and pull to remove it

  21. Pull the rubber bearing away from the motor blower

  22.  Rubber bearing removed

  23. Grip the motor blower

  24. Lift the motor blower out of the assembly

  25. Motor blower removed from assembly

  26. Take the motor blower from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance

  27. Fit the new motor blower into the assembly

  28. Lower the motor blower into the assembly

  29. Line up the rubber bearing with the motor blower spindle

  30. Fit the rubber bearing into the assembly

  31. Push the rubber bearing so it fits correctly into the assembly

  32.  Rubber bearing in place

  33. Locate the fan motor spindle into the blower

  34. Push the fan motor spindle into the blower

  35. Locate the motor into the blower casing

  36.  Twist the fan motor downwards to lock into place

  37. Refit the wires in the right place

  38. Check the blower does not foul up on the plastic casing

  39. Check both sides and slide to adjust if necessary

  40. Spin the blower to make sure it spins freely

  41.  New motor blower in place

  42. Replace the top and push it forward into position

  43. Lower the top down into position

  44. Replace the top retaining screws

  45. Tighten the top retaining screws

  46. Replace and tighten further top retaining screws

  47. Replace and tighten further top retaining screws
    BIMS31 Oven Top 4
  48. Replace and tighten further top retaining screws

  49. The appliance is now ready for use
