How to change a sump fixing ring on an Indesit Dishwasher

  2. Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket

  3. Tools required:Phillips Screwdriver
    Phillips screwdriver (small)

  5. Lay the appliance on its side to expose the base

  6. Using the phillips screwdriver remove the base retaining screws

  7. Remove further base retaining screws

  8. Carefully pull the base out a small amount

  9. Locate the overflow unit on the inside of the base

  10. Make a note of the wires and remove them, you can now remove the base

  11. From inside the appliance twist and release the sump fixing ring

  12. Hold the sump with one hand and remove the sump fixing ring with the other

  13. Take the sump fixing ring from package ensuring its correct for the appliance

  14. Position the sump in place and attach the new sump fixing ring

  15. Twist the new sump fixing ring to lock in position

  16. Replace the wires to the overflow unit micro switch

  17. Wires attached
    DI620 Overflow Container 1
  18. Replace the base

  19. Using the phillips screwdriver replace the base retaining screws

  20. Replace further base retaining screws
    DI620 Base 2
  21. Now stand the appliance upright

  22.  The appliance is now ready for use
