How to change a Sump Kit on washing machine Hotpoint WMA 60P
Safety FirstRemove the Plug from the Mains Socket
Tools required: Mole grips,T15 torx and a flat head screwdriver
Smear a small amount of sealant around hoses where indicated

Sealant can be purchased here
Using a soft cloth for protection lay the machine on its face (folded dustsheet)
Using the T15 screwdriver remove the screws retaining the lower back panel
Lower back panel removed
Locate the Sump Kit through the aperture
Using the mole grip release the corbin clip securing the hose to the drain pump
Corbin clip removed
Remove the hose from the drain pump
Using a screwdriver release the jubilee clip securing the sump kit to the sump
Remove the sump kit from the sump
Locate the pressure hose attached to the sump kit and remove it
Pressure hose removed from sump kit
Sump kit removed from sump
Take the new Sump Kit from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance
Fit the pressure hose to the new sump kit
Pressure hose fitted to sump kit
Using a suitable sealent fit the new sump kit to the sump
Push the sump kit well onto the sump
Using a screwdriver tighten the jubilee clip securing the sump kit to the sump
Using a suitable sealant fit the hose onto the drain pump
Push the hose well onto the drain pump
Using the mole grip fit the corbin clip securing the hose to the drain pump
Using the T15 screwdriver replace the screws retaining the lower back panel
The machine can now be stood up
