  2. Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket

  3. Tools required: Hammer & a flat head screwdriver
    Hammer & flat screwdriver (Small)
  4. 13mm socket a T30 torx screwdriver & an electric drill 
    T15 torx & a 13mm socket
  5. Use a suitable silicone sealant where indicated
    Silicone Sealant 60ml
  6. To remove drum see video on drum assembly replacement

  8. Stand the drum on end and locate the drum pulley

  9. Using the 13mm socket remove the drum pulley retaining bolt this will be tight

  11. Remove the drum pulley

  13. Using a block of wood and hammer give the spindle a sharp tap to release it

  14. The outer drum can now be split

  15. The 2 parts of the outer drum will only fit one way but 2 marks helps reassembly

  16. Using the T30 torx screwdriver remove the outer drum retaining screws

  17. Using the flat head screwdriver carefully separate the 2 parts of the outer drum

  19. Tap the spindle down onto a block of wood to release the inner drum

  20. Remove the inner drum from the rear outer drum

  21. If possible remove the spider retaining screws these may need drilling out

  22. Alternatively drill a 5mm pilot hole through the centre of the screw

  23. Drill the head of the screw of with a 10mm drill bit

  24. Screw head removed, repeat this procedure on all screws if necessary

  25. Using a flat head screwdriver prise the spider away from the drum

  26. Remove the spider from the drum

  27. Take the new drum spider from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance

  28. Fit the spider to the drum

  29. Fit the 3 spider retaining screws

  30. Using a T30 torx screwdriver tighten the 3 screws

  31. Place the rear outer drum over the spindle and gently tap into place

  32. Line up the 2 marks & fit the 2 parts of the outer drum together

  33. Two parts of drum together & ready for fixing

  34. Note the numbers on the drum front, these indicate screw numbers

  35. Using the T30 torx tighten screws in opposite sequence 1-10-6-14 etc

  36. Replace the drum pulley onto the spindle

  37. Replace the drum pulley retaining bolt

  38. Using a 13mm socket tighten the drum pulley retaining bolt fully

  39. Make sure this is fully tightened to draw the spindle into the bearings

  41. Drum assembly back together & ready to be fitted to the machine
