  2. Safety first remove plug from the mains socket

  3. Tools required are a phillips screwdriver

  4. Using the phillips screwdriver remove the 2 retaining screws securing the lid

  5. Give the lid a firm push backwards to disengage it

  6. Remove the lid

  7. Locate the pressure switch on the side of the washing machine

  8. Un-clip from the casing the plastic bracket with the pressure switch attached

  9. Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful) and remove them

  10. Remove the pressostat pipe from the pressure switch

  11. Pipe removed

  12. Remove the plastic bracket from the pressure switch

  13. Take the new pressure switch from its package ensuring its correct for appliance

  14. Fit the plastic bracket to the new pressure switch

  15. Fit the pressostat pipe to the new pressure switch

  16. Replace the wires

  17. Clip the plastic bracket to the side casing

  18. Pressure switch back in place

  19. Replace the lid

  20. Give the lid a firm push forwards to engage it

  21. Using the phillips screwdriver replace the 2 retaining screws securing the lid
