How to change the Console Dashboard on an Indesit Integrated Dishwasher
- Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket
- Tools required:Phillips screwdriver & a small flat head screwdriver
- Indesit D1620 Integrated Dishwasher
- Using the phillips screwdriver remove the console retaining screws
- Remove further console retaining screws
- Remove the console from the door panel
- Console removed from door panel
- Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful) and remove them
- Wires removed from Timer Module
- Using a phillips screwdriver remove 2 Timer Module retaining screws
- Remove the Timer Module from the console
- Remove the pilot lamp lens from the console
- Remove the button programme card from the console
- Remove the push button from the console
- Using a small flat screwdriver push the on off button out of the console
- Remove the on off button from the console
- Using a flat head screwdriver prise the pilot lamp off of the lens
- Pilot lamp removed
- Unclip & remove the on off switch from the console
- Using the phillips screwdriver remove the door interlock retaining screws
- Remove the door interlock from the console
- Remove the small red pilot lamp lens at the end of the console
- Take the new Console from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance
- Replace the small red pilot lamp lens into the end of the console
- Fit the Door Interlock into the new Console
- Using the phillips screwdriver replace the door interlock retaining screws
- Replace the on off switch onto the new Console
- Replace the pilot lamp onto the red lens
- Push the pilot lamp all the way onto the lens
- Replace the on off button into the new Console
- Replace the push button onto the new Console
- Replace the button programme card onto the new Console
- Replace the pilot lamp lens onto the new Console
- Replace Timer Module into the new Console
- Using the phillips screwdriver replace the 2 retaining screws
- Timer Module screwed into place now fit the wires
- Wires fitted to the Timer Module
- Replace the new Console onto the door panel
- Using the phillips screwdriver replace the console retaining screws
- Replace further console retaining screws
