  2. Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket

  3. Tools required:Phillips screwdriver & a small flat head screwdriver
    Ariston drum paddle tools (Small)

  5. Using the phillips screwdriver remove the console retaining screws

  6. Remove further console retaining screws 
    D1620 Console 2
  7. Remove the console from the door panel

  8. Console removed from door panel

  9. Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful) and remove them

  10. Wires removed from Timer Module

  11. Using a phillips screwdriver remove 2 Timer Module retaining screws

  12. Remove the Timer Module from the console
    D1620 Timer 5
  13. Remove the pilot lamp lens from the console
    D1620 pilot lamp lens
  14. Remove the button programme card from the console
    D1620 Card For Button Prog 1
  15. Remove the push button from the console
    D1620 Program push Button 1
  16. Using a small flat screwdriver push the on off button out of the consoleD1620 On Off Button 1
  17. Remove the on off button from the console
    D1620 On Off Button 3
  18. Using a flat head screwdriver prise the pilot lamp off of the lens

  19. Pilot lamp removed

  20. Unclip & remove the on off switch from the console
    D1620 On Off Wires Attached
  21. Using the phillips screwdriver remove the door interlock retaining screws

  22. Remove the door interlock from the console
    D1620 Door Interlock 5
  23. Remove the small red pilot lamp lens at the end of the console 
    D1620 Console Image
  24. Take the new Console from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance

  25. Replace the small red pilot lamp lens into the end of the console
    D1620 Console Image
  26. Fit the Door Interlock into the new Console
    D1620 Door Interlock 5
  27. Using the phillips screwdriver replace the door interlock retaining screws
    D1620 Door Interlock 3
  28. Replace the on off switch onto the new Console
    D1620 On Off Wires Attached
  29. Replace the pilot lamp onto the red lens
    D1620 Pilot Lamp 3
  30. Push the pilot lamp all the way onto the lens
    D1620 Pilot Lamp 2
  31. Replace the on off button into the new Console
    D1620 On Off Button 3
  32. Replace the push button onto the new Console
    D1620 Program push Button 1
  33. Replace the button programme card onto the new Console
    D1620 Card For Button Prog 1
  34.  Replace the pilot lamp lens onto the new Console
    D1620 pilot lamp lens
  35. Replace Timer Module into the new Console
    D1620 Timer 5
  36. Using the phillips screwdriver replace the 2 retaining screws
    D1620 Timer 4
  37. Timer Module screwed into place now fit the wires
    D1620 Timer 2
  38. Wires fitted to the Timer Module
    D1620 Timer 1
  39. Replace the new Console onto the door panel
    D1620 Console 3
  40. Using the phillips screwdriver replace the console retaining screws
    D1620 Console 2
  41. Replace further console retaining screws
    D1620 Console 1
