How to change the detergent recovery hose on a washing machine Ariston AIB16
Safety first Remove the plug from the mains supply
Tools required are mole grips and a 7mm socket
Using a dust sheet to protect the surface lay the machine down on its face
Locate the detergent recovery hose on the drain pump
Using the mole grips release the corbin clip attaching the hose to the pump
Remove the detergent recovery hose from the drain pump
Using the 7mm socket release the wire clip attaching the hose to the outer tank
Remove the hose from the outer tank
Hose removed
Take the new hose from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance
Apply suitable sealant and fit the new detergent recovery hose to the outer tank
Using the 7mm spanner replace the wire retaining clip and tighten
Apply sealent and attach the new detergent recovery hose to the drain pump
Using the mole grips replace the corbin clip attaching the hose to the pump
New detergent recovery hose attached to the drain pump
Stand the machine upright and its ready for use
