How to change the door on a tumble dryer
How to change the door on a tumble dryer- Safety first remove plug from mains socket
- Tools required are a phillips screwdriver
- Using the phillips screwdriver remove the catch retaining screw
- Slide the catch down & pull forward
- Remove the catch from the door
- Using the phillips screwdriver remove 2 retaining screws securing the top hinge
- Pull the door away from the casing & remove the hinge ready for refitting
- Lift the door away from the bottom hinge leaving the hinge secured to the casing
- Take the new door from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance
- Locate the new door onto the bottom hinge
- Locate the top hinge into the new door & position it against the casing
- Using the phillips screwdriver replace the top hinge retaining screws
- Locate the catch into the new door
- Push the catch in & slide upwards
- Using the phillips screwdriver secure the catch with the retaining screw
