  2. Safety FirstRemove the Plug from the Mains Socket

  3. Tools required: T15 torx & flat head screwdriver a small hammer & a 10mm spanner

  4. Smear a small amount of sealant around to areas  where indicated
    Silicone Sealant 60ml
  5. Using a soft cloth for protection lay the machine on its face (folded dustsheet is useful)

  6.  Using the T15 screwdriver remove the screws retaining the lower back panel

  7. Lower back panel removed

  8. Locate the heater element and make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful)

  9. Remove the wires from the heater element

  10. Using the 10mm spanner release the retaining nut do not remove the nut

  11. Place the handle of the hammer onto the retaining nut and give it a sharp tap

  12. Using a flat head screwdriver prise the heater and rubber gromet out of the drum

  13. Remove the heater element from the drum

  14. Heater element removed

  15. Take the new heater element from its package ensuring its correct for appliance

  16. Using a sealant to the surfaces of the grommet fit the new element into the drum

  17. Gently tighten the retaining nut do not over tighten

  18. Replace the wires

  19. Using the T15 screwdriver replace the screws retaining the lower back panel 
    WMA 60 Lower back plate 2
  20. The machine can now be stood up
