  2. Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket

  3. Tools required:Phillips screwdriver & a small flat screwdriver

  5. Using the phillips screwdriver remove the console retaining screws

  6. Remove further console retaining screws

  7. Remove the console from the door panel

  8. Console removed from door panel

  9. Using a small flat screwdriver push the On Off button out of the console

  10. Remove the On Off button from the console

  11. On off button removed

  12. Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful) and remove them

  13. Using a small flat screwdriver release the clips on the on off switch

  14. Pull the On Off switch away from the console

  15. Remove the On Off switch

  16. On Off switch removed

  17. Take the On Off switch from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance

  18. Fit the new On Off switch into the console
    D1620 On Off Switch 4
  19. Push it all the way home until it clicks into place

  20. Fit the wires onto the new On Off switch
    D1620 On Off Switch 1
  21. Replace the On Off button

  22. Replace the console onto the door panel

  23. Using the phillips screwdriver replace the console retaining screws
    D1620 Console 2
  24. Replace further console retaining screws
    D1620 Console 1
