How to change the On Off Switch on an Indesit Dishwasher
Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket
Tools required:Phillips screwdriver & a small flat screwdriver
Indesit D1620 Integrated Dishwasher
Using the phillips screwdriver remove the console retaining screws
Remove further console retaining screws
Remove the console from the door panel
Console removed from door panel
Using a small flat screwdriver push the On Off button out of the console
Remove the On Off button from the console
On off button removed
Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful) and remove them
Using a small flat screwdriver release the clips on the on off switch
Pull the On Off switch away from the console
Remove the On Off switch
On Off switch removed
Take the On Off switch from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance
Fit the new On Off switch into the console
Push it all the way home until it clicks into place
Fit the wires onto the new On Off switch
Replace the On Off button
Replace the console onto the door panel
Using the phillips screwdriver replace the console retaining screws
Replace further console retaining screws
