How to change the upper wash arm feed pipe on an Indesit Dishwasher
- Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket
- Tools required:Phillips Screwdriver & a Socket for Jubilee Clips
- Indesit DI620 Integrated Dishwasher
- Using the phillips screwdriver remove the lower back panel retaining screws
- Remove further lower back panel retaining screws
- Remove further lower back panel retaining screws
- Remove further lower back panel retaining screws
- Remove lower back panel and set aside
- Grip the top basket runner end stop and twist outwards
- Basket runner end stop twisted out
- Basket runner end stop twisted out on the other side
- Remove the top basket
- With the basket removed locate the upper was arm feed pipe retaining nut
- Grip the retaining nut and unscrew to remove it
- Retaining nut removed
- Remove the shaped plastic locater
- From the rear of the appliance locate the Upper wash arm feed pipe
- Release the jubilee clip connecting the pump junction pipe to the feed pipe
- Grip the feed pipe and remove it from the pump junction pipe
- Feed pipe removed
- Remove the feed pipe from the rear of the appliance
- Take the new feed pipe from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance
- Fit the new feed pipe to the rear of the appliance
- Fit the new feed pipe to the pump junction hose
- Make sure the new feed pipe is pushed well into the pump junction hose
- Replace and tighten the jubilee clip to the pump junction hose
- Feed pipe in position
- Replace the shaped plastic locater & make sure it fits centrally
- Replace the feed pipe retaining nut
- Tighten the feed pipe retaining nut firmly by hand
- Replace the upper basket & as you push it in the end stops will relocate
- Replace lower back panel
- Using the phillips screwdriver replace lower back panel retaining screws
- Replace further lower back panel retaining screws
- Replace further lower back panel retaining screws
- Replace further lower back panel retaining screws
- The appliance is now ready for use
