- How to change the wash motor circulation pump on an Indesit Dishwasher
- Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket
- Tools required:Phillips Screwdriver & a socket for jubilee clips
- A pair of Pliers
- Indesit DI620 Integrated Dishwasher
- Lay the appliance on its side to expose the base
- Using the phillips screwdriver remove the base retaining screws
- Remove further base retaining screws
- Carefully pull the base out a small amount
- Locate the overflow unit on the inside of the base
- Make a note of the wires and remove them, now remove the base
- Release the corbin clip retaining the drain hose
- Corbin clip released
- Remove the drain hose from the drain pump to give access to the wash motor pump
- Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful) and remove them
- Wires removed
- Release the jubilee clip to the Pump Junction Pipe
- Remove the pump junction pipe from the wash motor pump
- Release the jubilee clip from the high pressure sensor assembly
- Release the jubilee clip from the sump to pump hose
- Grip the wash motor pump & remove it from the 2 pipes
- Locate the motor fixing spring & release it
- Lift the motor fixing spring up to remove the wash motor pump
- Locate and remove the earth wire
- Wash motor pump removed from appliance
- Take the new wash motor from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance
- Connect the earth wire to the new wash motor pump
- Position the motor fixing spring onto the appliance
- Push the motor fixing spring down and into position
- Position the new wash motor pump onto the 2 hoses
- Tighten the jubilee clip to the sump to pump hose
- Tighten the jubilee clip to the high pressure sensor assembly
- Replace the pump junction pipe to the wash motor pump
- Tighten the jubilee clip to the Pump Junction Pipe
- Refit the wires
- Fit the drain hose onto the drain pump
- Using the pliers refit the corbin clip to hold the drain hose in place
- Replace the wires to the overflow unit micro switch
- Wires attached
- Replace the base
- Using the phillips screwdriver replace the base retaining screws
- Replace further base retaining screws
- Now stand the appliance upright
- The appliance is now ready for use
