- Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket
- Tools Required: A Phillips screwdriver
- Indesit (BIMS31KABIX)
- Open the door
- Locate the hinges on both sides
- Lift the hinge latch on both hinges
- Fold the latch over as far as it will go
- Fold the latch over as far as it will go on the other hinge
- Lift the door up to the hinge latch
- Lift the door further to remove it from the appliance
- Remove the door from the appliance
- Door removed
- Place the door on a protective surface,dustsheet, cardboard, etc
- Stand the door on its hinges and remove the door glass retaining screws
- Remove the door glass retaining screws
- Turn the door so the front door glass faces you
- Lift the front door glass out of the lower track of the oven door
- Lay the door down on a suitable surface
- Remove the hinge retaining screw from the door face
- Stand the door up so that the hinge is at the top
- Remove the hinge retaining screw
- Remove a further hinge retaining screw
- Screws removed
- Remove the hinge from the door
- Hinge removed from the door
- Take the new door hinge from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance
- Fit the new hinge to the door
- Make sure the new hinge is lined up with the screw holes
- Replace the hinge retaining screws
- Replace a further hinge retaining screw
- Hinge in place now lay the door down and fit the final screw
- Replace the hinge retaining screw to the door face
- Tighten the hinge retaining screw to the door face
- New hinge in place
- Fit the front door glass into the lower track on the oven door
- Make sure the door glass lines up with the screw holes
- Turn the door around
- Replace the door glass retaining screws
- Tighten the door glass retaining screws
- Tighten the door glass retaining screws do not overtighten
- Offer the door up to the appliance to locate the hinges
- Feed the hinges into the appliance on both sides
- Lower the door to its open position
- Lower the door to its open position
- Fold the latches back into the locked position on both sides
- Fold the latches back into the locked position on both sides
- Close the door the appliance is now ready for use
