  3. Tools Required: A phillips screwdriver & a small flat screwdriver

  5. Open the door

  6. Remove the oven grid

  7. Remove the oven drip tray

  8. Locate the lamp assembly inside the oven

  9. Grip the glass lens and twist anticlockwise to release from the lamp assembly

  10.  Remove the glass lens from the lamp assembly

  11. Glass lens removed from the lamp assembly

  12. Grip the lamp (bulb) and twist anticlockwise to release from the lamp assembly

  13. Remove the lamp (bulb) from the lamp assembly

  15. Locate the rear panel

  16.  Using the phillips screwdriver remove the rear panel retaining screws

  17. Remove further rear panel retaining screws

  18. Remove further rear panel retaining screws

  19. Remove further rear panel retaining screws

  20. Tilt the rear panel outwards

  21. Locate the terminal block on the inside of the rear panel

  22. Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful) and remove them

  23. Wires removed now remove the rear panel

  24. With the rear panel removed locate the oven lamp assembly

  27. Using the small flat screwdriver gently push to release the retaining clips

  28. Gently push to release further retaining clips
    BIMS31 Oven Lamp Assembly 4
  29. Gently push to release further retaining clips

  30. Gently push to release further retaining clips

  31. The oven lamp assembly can now be released from the oven casing

  32. Let the oven lamp assembly rest on the casing & retrieve it from inside the oven

  33. Grip the oven lamp assembly and remove it from the appliance

  35. Take the lamp assembly from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance

  36. Line up the new lamp assembly into the aperture

  37. Push the lamp assembly until it clicks into place

  38. New lamp assembly in place at the rear of appliance

  39. Fit the wires to the new lamp assembly

  40. Reconnect the wire to the terminal block situated on the rear panel

  42. Reposition the back panel onto the appliance

  43. Using the phillips screwdriver replace the rear panel retaining screws

  44. Replace further rear panel retaining screws

  45. Replace further rear panel retaining screws

  46. Replace further rear panel retaining screws

  48. From inside the oven fit the new lamp (bulb) to the lamp assembly

  49. Twist the lamp (bulb) clockwise into the lamp assembly do not overtighten

  50. Lamp (bulb) in place

  51. Replace the glass lens to the lamp assembly

  52. Twist the glass lens clockwise to secure do not overtighten

  53. Glass lens in place secured to the lamp assembly

  54. Replace the oven drip tray

  55. Replace the oven grid
    BIMS31 Grid
  56. The appliance is now ready for use
