- Safety First:Remove the Plug from the Mains Socket
- Tools Required: A phillips screwdriver
- Indesit (BIMS31KABIX)
- Locate the rear panel
- Locate the terminal block
- Release the front cover of the terminal
- Open the front cover of the terminal block
- Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful) and remove them
- Remove the screw retaining the wire clamp
- Lift up the wire clamp on the terminal block
- Using the phillips screwdriver release the wire retaining screws
- Remove the wires leaving the retaining screws in place
- Release further retaining screws
- Release further retaining screws
- Remove the wires from the terminal block
- Wires removed
- Using the phillips screwdriver remove the terminal block retaining screws
- Remove further terminal block retaining screws
- Terminal block retaining screws removed
- Using the phillips screwdriver remove the rear panel retaining screws
- Remove further rear panel retaining screws
- Remove further rear panel retaining screws
- Remove further rear panel retaining screws
- Tilt the rear panel outwards
- Locate the terminal block on the inside of the rear panel
- Push the terminal block retaining clips to release the terminal block
- Push the terminal block through the rear panel
- Reposition the back panel onto the appliance
- Using the phillips screwdriver replace the rear panel retaining screws
- Replace further rear panel retaining screws
- Replace further rear panel retaining screws
- Replace further rear panel retaining screws
- Grip the terminal block and pull away from the rear panel
- Pull the terminal block with wires attached through the rear panel
- Make a note of the wires (a photograph is useful) and remove them
- Wires removed from the terminal block
- Make sure the wires do not fall inside the appliance
- Take the terminal block from its package ensuring its correct for the appliance
- Connect the wires to the new terminal block
- Wires connected to the new terminal block
- Locate the new terminal block into the rear panel
- Push the new terminal block into the rear panel until it clicks into place
- Replace the terminal block retaining screws
- Feed the wires over the top of the screw thread
- Using the phillips screwdriver tighten the wire retaining screw
- Fit the remaining wires making sure they are in the right place
- Using the phillips screwdriver tighten the remaining wire retaining screws
- Fold the wire retaining clamp down into position
- Using the phillips screwdriver tighten the clamp retaining screw
- Close the cover of the terminal block
- New terminal block in possition
- The appliance is now ready for use
