Excellent item.
Unsure of this company at first because of the strange way of paying for the item. Instead of simply accepting my credit card, clicking on it produced a blank screen, the I noticed a different paying system?
I took advice before purchasing & all was well.
As for the item, it is brilliant, just what we needed. Free delivery, it just got better.

Eagle 8W Battery Powered Soldering Iron
Impressive
Very impressed with this little soldering iron. Does what it says and heats rapidly and melts solder within 15 seconds. It has an intrinsic cap safety measure that stops you accidentally turning it on. Bear in mind that you have to constantly push the plastic lug/switch down and keep it under pressure for it to work so therefore won't stay on and drain the battery. I'm not sure how long the batteries will last under discharge but should be long enough to complete a remedial repair.
