Dyson YDK Motor Replacement Carbon Brushes 2 Pack
New brushes fitted.
Yes, so far so good. The brushes were badly worn due to a failing bearing. Now fitted by soldering new ones in place, all I am waiting for now is the replacement bearings. Coming from China/ Hong Kong for £1.09 for two!!! making a rebuilt Dyson DC01 motor £2.84. TIP:- push the brushes in their sleeves then the spring and trial fit the brass plates to hold the spring. Then cut the wire to length as you do not need to leave such a tail. That way the brushes will not fall out within the motor!

Replacement Dyson Filters
Got these because when you clean the filter you have to wait until they are fully dry. This allows you to simply swap out and vacuum and then sort out washing the other filter

Good Little Set at much Less than Dyson Charge
I've got a Dyson DC22 and the combined brush and crevice tool has had its day so I had a look at this set. Generally it's very good and great value for money. The only downside is that the mini turbo brush is less useful than it could be as it's a fixed head rather than having a pivot as the big DC22 brush has. For that reason, I'd probably go for the set without it if I were buying again. Overall, though, that's a minor niggle and the tools fit well and are well made.
