Main Oven Thermostat for Creda/Hotpoint/Jackson/Cannon Cookers and Ovens
Right part for Hotpoint BU62 main oven
Looking at the old thermostat on the cooker, I thought it needed three connectors on the back, but when you detach them two of the wires are linked into one of the two connectors on the rear of the unit.

Wrong Description
Despite what it says, this is the thermostat for the top oven of a Hotpoint BU62. Seems to be a problem with the Hotpoint reference website. YourSpares sorted out the mix up.

Fan Oven Heating Element - 2500w for Creda/Hotpoint/Cannon Cookers and Ovens
This was the right part second time around and fitted and worked without a problem in my Hotpoint BU62.
It was more expensive that others parts on the site that said they fitted the same cooker, but it isn't always best to go for the cheapest option.
If in doubt, contact the sames staff they were very helpful and found me the correct part to use.
