Why purchased:
This regulator (48ER101C1P) was purchased to replace a malfunctioning regulator in a Creda Aspire SolarPlus (Model: 48906) hob. The original regulator had a different model number (43ER101C1) to this, but we ordered this since we couldn't find the original anywhere.
Did it fit:
Yes. Even the connector layout is identical to the original. Both single and twin modes of this regulator work perfectly.

Cooker Left Hand Lower End Cap for Hotpoint Cookers and Ovens
Fitted easily with the door removed
I had to replace a broken right hand end cap so while the door was off, I also replaced the left hand one. It just clips into place. The website photo doesn't make it clear that this item has the necessary raised side to fit the door.
