Hotpoint Dishwasher Hoses

The old hose developed a pinhole leak where it pressed against a hot water pipe running along the back of the dishwasher FWD80. I repaired the old hose with gauze and Fernox LS-X, but decided that a replacement at less that £6 was safer. It is a bit tricky to fit, involving disconnecting the machine, draining water out the hoses, putting down towels to catch more water, turning the machine on the left hand side, removing the front feet to get access to six screws on the sides of the bottom tray, then removing the bottom tray. The hardest part was getting the hose clamp/grommet fitted where the hose goes through the side of the machine.
I then drilled a hole in the bottom of the adjacent kitchen cabinet so that the hose could exit horizontally at the space at the back of the dishwasher and avoid being squashed against the water pipes further up the wall.
