Simply-fitted 'pattern' glass-retaining clips
These glass-to-door retaining clips (part QUADR25 at £2.69 for a pair) were broken by the heavy impact of the door onto the floor. Fitting these pattern replacements required a little teasing, to open their slots to slide over a ridge moulded into the door-case.
The door had fallen off because one of the original hinge-pin sockets had failed because its badly-rusting screw weakened the plastic until it split: .
I bought replacements for the failed hinge-pin sockets at the same time: part QUADR24 at £3.49 for the pair (see my review of same).
Luckily, the door missed the feet of the elderly tumble-dryer user, as it fell from a height of about 1.5 metres: the dryer sits on top of a washing machine.
I have to admit that I didn't notice the door-catch's glass-retaining 'ears' had also been snapped off.
There is actually a 'Door Latch Plate' offered at £8.51: part C00168285.

Q.
Where can I get the screws for this item?
In reply to my earlier question on this item(and also item (QUARD 24) you responded:

.Unfortunately all the screws were sheared of when the door was damaged so are not reusable. Have you any other suggestion?

Hello Peter, what I would suggest is locating some screws form a hardware store or similar. The specific screws which the manufacturers offer as genuine spare parts are extremely expensive and are just standard screws. As an example take a look at the link below for just one screw.
