Did the job perfectly
I read online that Hotpoint (& other tumble dryers) with motors that won't start might be suffering from failure of this capacitor. Took a chance, ordered it, and fitted it, saving a big repair bill.

perfect replacement
The original wheel totally disintegrated. Looking online it seemed an easy fix. The part was ordered and arrived in double quick time. Its a doddle to fit once the machine is partly dismantled and can be done by anyone with a set of screwdrivers. The hardest part is getting the belt to clip back over the wheel rims, I pulled the belt like I was pulling for dear life before it finally went on. Once fitted the machine was nice and quiet and works a treat. Well worth the money and I must have saved £30 in labour charges.
