And yes, it did confirm the oven was hotter than the dial would have you believe.. Recommended..

Handy little device
Ordered this to check that my oven was working at the correct temperature for any given setting. It conveniently either sits on its base or hangs from any shelf within the oven. It verified that my oven was reaching the correct set temperature as displayed on the cooker selection knob. Not sure how accurate the device is but its temperature indicated was within +- 5 degrees of my oven setting. Job done.
The unit is small and unobtrusive so it could be left in the oven permanently, its display is easy to read through my oven glass door. Very happy with it.

Very useful
I was increasingly concerned about the accuracy of my over temperature and this has helped enormously, no more overdone cakes etc! It is really useful with an easy to read dial and helpful hanging hook or freestanding.
