Perfect extra shelf!
I bought this as an extra rack for my top oven which I mainly use as a grill. The rack is super easy to adjust to size and even comes with a tiny screwdriver. The rack is sturdy and was just what I wanted. The price is excellent too. Speedy delivery a d great service all round. I would definitely recommend.

Handy extra shelf
This Ufixt extendable oven shelf is easy to setup to the correct size.
The edges are a little rough in places, but as most of the time it won't be handled with bare hands, this should not be an issue.
Unfortunately it doesn't have a safety style "dip" in the side to catch on the oven runner to prevent it pulling straight out, but once the first dish is on the floor, you should remember to go slow :).

How do you "set" the size?
The oven shelf arrived and I have adjusted it to the size of the oven but how do you make it secure? I know there are 4 'pins' but how should they be placed so the shelf doesn't slip? Thanks.

Hi lee, the pins should be inserted into the gaps left between the extending sides and the main body. So pull the shelf to size and then fix into place with the pins in the 4 gaps where they join. I hope that makes sense

A universal oven shelf to fit almost every oven. This high quality product easily extends and is a fraction of the cost when purchasing a specific oven shelf.
Can be used for BBQ's also.
Keeping your oven clean can be a challenging task, there are plenty of cleaning products available to assist you in this chore and many of them work very well but even with the best degreasent and manual labour it's very difficult to make the oven shelf's look like new!
It's often to easy to just shut the oven door and forget about the dirt and grease and grime that is building up on your oven shelf's.
The food being cooked over time has burnt itself to the metal and when you finally decide to take on the challenging task of cleaning the oven you find that even with hours of intense scrubbing your efforts will not shift all the grime that has built up.
Replacement oven shelf's can be costly and trying to locate the correct shelf for your appliance may be impossible because if your oven is more than 10 years old the manufacturers are no longer obliged to create the spares for your appliance. If the parts are available you could well have to pay in excess of Fifty pounds per shelf depending on who the manufacturer of your appliance is.
Once you have located the shelf it may have to be ordered in specially as there are so many types, very few suppliers or even manufacturers will carry stock and if they do it will only be for the most popular types.
Fortunately Indesit have created a completely universal oven shelf which will extend to fit any oven measuring between 350mm and 560mm. You simply pull the shelf to the correct length and place the pins into place. The shelf is sturdy and does not bend in the middle even with the heaviest of oven dishes or trays.
There are other similar products available but we have always found they are not upto the job, often there is a weakness when the shelf's are fully open but this product manufactured by Indesit is to the highest of standards and is strong.
