Drop in, turn on

Our venerable VAX 2000s' switch detent failed so it didn't know whether to be on or off. Got this switch as a replacement. The terminal layout is slightly different but still one wire per corner. So, unplug the old, in with the new and normal (noisy!) vacuuming is restored.

Fits Miele S8310 too

I have a Miele S8310. I asked Yourspares support if this part would fit, it certainly looked like the part that I had lost. They confirmed that it would. Ordered, received quickly and yes it does. Even better than the original as it 'clicks' through different settings so allowing the suction to be varied while the part feels very secure on its mount. All in all I'm very pleased.
