    Hotpoint TDL31 No heat

    Our tumble dryer has stopped blowing hot air - it has two heat settings, neither produces any heat. The drum rotates, and air blows out the vent. Not a huge amount of lint, but I vacuumed it anyway.

    I removed the back panel (power off obviously). There are two thermostats, one with a blue dot, the other has no spots. The blue dot is closed, but the other is open circuit. The elements appear to have continuity, so would I be right in thinking the "anonymous" thermostat is the high limit, and needs replacing?
