The Mercury RF modulator allows for the connection of SCART or phono video signals to the RF coaxial input on a TV. It's used for distributing signals via coaxial cable around your home. Connect a chain of devices to the SCART in and send them to several other rooms. Used for devices such as CCTV, DVD, satellite receivers, set top box, TV, cable, CD, Games Consoles, VCR, etc. Features channel 21-69 output adjustable by simple up & down buttons viewable on the built-in LED channel display. Mains power adaptor and coaxial fly lead (plug-socket) are supplied. Features a SCART out loop through for connection to a VCR.

Digital or analogue

Will the input signal be detected by the digital tuner or the analogue tuner of the tv?

If analogue is the answer does a modulator with a digital output exist or is it even possible.

I would like to set an input to one of the Freeview digital tv channels which run from 1 to over 300. Is this possible? This would save the problem of changing from digital tv to analogue tv when looking at the input from the modulator.

  The 350.111 provides a signal for the analogue tuner only.
  There are digital modulators available but they are £100’s of pounds
