I bought two sets of four to cover the seven knobs I wanted to replace (for aesthetic reasons; the originals were light grey and crappy-looking). I replaced the timer, oven temp and mode knobs using the supplied connector attachments, but added a small spacer (several of which I sliced from a long connector).

For the four hob knobs, however, it took a little more work. I had to enlarge the hole in the existing sleeves, cut the longest connector down by a few mm, and add stiffer springs to keep the sleeves in place (the original springs only did their job because the original knobs were so loose that they rattled).

None of the knobs align particularly well, with the closest alignment between the knob and the connector (which is shaped like a sprocket, so only fits in increments of rotation) meaning the knob actually points to a few minutes past midnight instead of straight up.

Aesthetically, minor alignment issues aside (they all sit at the same angle, so they still look good), the knobs are considerably better than the ones they replace, and required minimal work to tailor to my satisfaction.
