Review: Expert Sash Cramp - 900mm

To be honest i was expecting a lot less from "Silverline" as their tools are renowned for their less than perfect quality, but the Sash Cramps were brilliant. A good, strong, heavy duty cramp that wont twist or bend when tightening, I have read reviews, where people have said the paint comes off the cramps onto the workpiece, but this is to be expected with most makes, and with a little sanding or even better, the use of scrap wood between the cramp jaws when clamping, and this isn't an issue. overall a very good heavy duty cramp that i would recommend to anyone, also for this particular cramp, i have found that yourspares.co.uk is the cheapest place on the net to buy from. Regarding the company itself, i was very impressed with the couriers they used to deliver the item and also the condition in which they arrived, as usually something so heavy usually has been battered from pillar to post by the time it gets here. I ordered 4 cramps and with the discount i got for signing up to yourspares.co.uk newsletter i literally only paid 38p P&P (without the discount the P&P was something in the region of £2.58) which was incredible considering the weight (23lbs approx) and the fact i am in Northern Ireland, needless to say i will be ordering from yourspares.co.uk again, and again. as i couldn't rate this company highly enough.
